|In addition to the English and Maths activities we have already sent home, these activities will support your children in the wider curriculum.|
Watch BBC Newsround – ‘What was kindertransport?’ https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/46877532 Make notes on what the Kindertransport was. You can do this in your English book.
Write a report on what the Kindertransport was. Include when it happened, why it happened, where the children were sent to, how they and their families felt, what life was like for the children, and what some of the children later achieved.
Watch BBC teach KS2 Easter https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/class-clips-video/religious-studies-ks2-easter/znkngwx. Record the different ways Christians celebrate Good Friday and Easter Sunday. This could be as a bullet pointed list, as a brainstorm or you can present it however you like.
Design an Easter Card. It does not have to be a religious Easter card – it could celebrate the start of Spring. Draw the design in your English book.
Design the inside of the card. Who will you send it to? What will you write? Could you write a little poem? If you have the materials, you could then make it.
